Engaging Others, Knowing Ourself
September 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
What happens when we engage with someone from another wisdom tradition? Will we be led away from our own tradition? Will we experience conflict and need to distance ourselves? Or is it possible that engaging with people of other traditions can lead us both deeper into our own tradition, while appreciating and learning with those of other traditions? Join us for a conversation with Pema Lisa Antonioni and ordained Buddhist, Chris-Lee Thompson, an ordained Lutheran pastor and Terry Kyllo, the executive director of the Treacy Levine Center, to explore how engaging with people of diverse traditions can enrich us all.
