Dia de los Muertos
Today we are meeting at the cemetery (figuratively speaking!). It isn't a sad time; it's a time to rejoice in the memories of our family and friends who have passed away. Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a celebration of life and death. While the holiday originated in Mexico, it is celebrated all over Latin America. As we move through the program this morning, think about an item you might place on a grave or altar in memory of, and to honor, one of your own absent family members or friends. We'll leave you time to share this with us today.
