Supporting Democracy: Refueling the Fire of Commitment
The 5th Principle of Unitarian Universalism is: The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large. In our country there is evidence of the degradation of the access to, as well as the reliability of, the democratic process. Our faith asks us to fight for and use the democratic process. There are many ways we do this but...when will it end? How can we continue this work when there's bad news every day? One answer is making room for joy and expressing our anger in music.
