Unitarian Universalist Humanism


U.U. is a free religion with no uniform creed or confession of faith. However, we do have seven principles and six sources to draw upon. One of these is "Humanist teachings which counsel us to heed the guidance of reason and the results of science, and warn us against the idolatries of the mind and spirit." Where did this source come from and how does it impact our own personal faith?
