Childs Creek Farm Arts and Ecology Gardens, operated by our own Cindy Bjorklund, is where SUUF will engage in community service, commune over a meal, and get celebratory and creative, all in the name of Spiritual Development.
We will have choices. Those who can’t do garden projects might help in the sun room potting or planting starts, and/or might bring a dish for our informal potluck.
DATES:
Sunday April 30, Sunday May 28, and Sunday June 25
TIME:
1:00-ish, farm projects until 3:30, then a light meal followed by a festival of creativity.
BRING (as appropriate):
Tools, marked with name. Loppers, small hand saws, shovels, weeding tools, hori hori, hand trowel …
Gloves and sun hat. Indoor participants should be prepared to mask up…and maintain social distance
Nourishment and hydration. Water bottle or unbreakable mug. Maybe a dish to share.
All visitors/volunteers should sign liability waiver and take safety as their highest priority. Everyone’s health and enjoyment is our goal along with stewardship of our land and lives.
There will also be family friendly music and market events at Eagle Haven Winery every Sunday between late May and Family Farm Fest on the first weekend in October, making these Sundays ideal for an upriver drive.
Childs Creek Farm Arts and Ecology Gardens is located just off Hwy 20 at MP 72 on the right side at 29920 Lyman Hamilton Rd, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284. Carpooling encouraged.
