Film & Pizza Night for Adults

Social Justice is holding a Film & Pizza Night for Adults on Saturday, September 19, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at SUUF.
The film is The Sharps War, about Martha and Rev. Waitsill Sharp, who went to Nazi Europe to help refugees, especially children, escape the Nazis, starting when Czechoslovakia was first invaded. They were called by the UU church, and ended up going on several successful missions.
This is a very serious and moving film, lasting 85 minutes. Pizza and soda, (and tissue) will be provided. There will be time after for support and discussion.
At great sacrifice, ordinary people stepped up to the call. Please come to listen and see their story.
